Bill Kasper, an artist who has worked in pen and ink, stained glass, oils, glass, metals, bronze and other mediums for more than 30 years, today concentrates his time on handblown glass objects. Having learned the skill of glassblowing at the Philadelphia College of Art, Bill has perfected these skills at California's Palomar Community College.
Today, Bill devotes his creative energies to creating glassblown works in his own facility in downtown Escondido, CA. Kasper is well-known for unusual use of layers of color on different shapes to create decorative bowls, vases, tumblers, clamshells and more. His sculptural works integrating his blownglass with various materials including wood, iron, and metals add a new dimension to interior spaces.
